            Hold the new sensor's button until its light blinks, it usually joins within a minute or two.

                Step 1 of 6 · Your kit code

                Let's connect your kit

                Your Daily Start kit came with a short code on the box. Pop it in and we'll link the hub and sensors that were paired for you, no scanning, nothing technical.

                Step 2 of 6 · Placing the sensors

                Where the sensors go

                They're already connected, so this is just about where to pop them. Peel-and-stick, no tools. Put each one where it suits the house, then tell us what to call it. That's the name you'll see in the activity log, and you can change it any time.

                  Plug it in and connect the network cable, to your router if you can. Leave it switched on, that's all it needs.

                  Step 3 of 6 · The morning check

                  If the morning stays quiet

                  Choose when we should let the family know. If there's still no sign of the day by this time, we send a gentle nudge to give a call. Most people pick mid-morning, and you can change it any time.

                  Step 4 of 6 · Keeping it open and kind

                  Make sure they're happy with this

                  Daily Start is only ever open and consensual, never hidden. Before it starts, we make sure the person it looks out for knows what it does.

                  There's a printed note in the box

                  A warm, plain-language, large-text page written for them: what the sensors notice, what they never do, and that they can see or stop it any time. Read it through together.

                  Daily Start only begins once this is confirmed. You can pause or delete everything at any time.

                  Step 5 of 6 · Invite your family

                  Bring in the family

                  Daily Start is nicer shared. Invite anyone who'd like the same reassurance, they get their own login and see everything you do. You can always add more later.

                  They'll get an email with a link to join. There's nothing for them to set up first, and nothing more to pay: your plan covers everyone.

                  Step 6 of 6 · Switch it on

                  Start your subscription

                  Pick the plan that suits you. Daily Start stays quiet until this is set up, with no contract and cancel any time. If you've a code for free months, you can pop it in on the next screen.

                  Paid securely by Stripe

                  The next screen is Stripe's, where your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay is handled safely. We never see your card details, and your invoices live there too.
